Ask anyone who their favourite G.I. Joe character is and they will say Snake Eyes without missing a beat. This silent ninja has won over the hearts and minds of every fan that has ever yelled the words “Yo Joe” out loud… and yes, there’s plenty of you out there. Here’s what this whole sequel thing is about:

A follow-up to the 2009 release of G.I. JOE: RISE OF THE COBRA, which grossed over $300M worldwide, Paramount Pictures, MGM and Skydance Productions, in association with HASBRO and di Bonaventura Pictures, commences production on G.I. JOE: RETALIATION. In this sequel, the G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra; they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence.

The new costume for our favourite ninja is quite a bit more badass than the one in the previous movie, mostly by removing the weird non-moving mouth thing they had going on. Seriously, it creeped me out.

It’s been awhile since J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek movie hit theaters destroying all continuity as we know it in the most spectacular fashion. Since then fans have been waiting for any news of the impending sequel on bated breath. Well Trekkies, you can breathe a sigh of relief because the first batch of set photos were released the other day and they look pretty damn awesome. The pictures show Spock (Zachary Quinto) and Uhura (Zoe Saldana) facing Benedict Cumberbatch. Apparently Cumberbatch, the unknown villain of the movie, can take quite a beating as it appears he gets shot in the face by Saldana and beaten within an inch of his life by Quinto. Not many details have been released about Cumberbatch’s role in the movie, but if his role in BBC’s Sherlock is any indication, it should be really good. We’ll have more details as they come, but in the mean time enjoy the pretty pictures.

Here’s a look at Hugo Weaving as the Red Skull from Captain America: The First Avenger, which I may say looks a lot more badass than I was first led to believe. For those who may be wondering what the symbol is on his belt buckle, it is logo for Hydra. I know the organization Hydra is supposed to play a fairly large role in the film, but we’ll see as more details hit the net.  Captain America: The First Avenger hits theaters this summer.

Remember when we were kids? Those were the days, we’d watch some giant bird walk on a street, wear our Sunday bests when visiting grandma and grandpa. The highlight though it to had been when you, Timmy, Billy, Tommy, and Johnny would get together to play good ol’fashioned Cowboys and Native Americans (Still have to have it politically correct people.) It seems Jon Favreau still has those glory days in his mind…With a slight upgrade. Yes it seems the man behind the huge success of Iron Man and Iron Man 2 is taking  a swing at another comic book series. Jon will be taking the helm for Universal’s Cowboys & Aliens. As Best described this is the wild west meets Independence Day. As our oh so clever article banner eludes we have some pretty shweet looking stills to share with you. So by all means. Dig In.

This films is to be released July 29, 2011

Cowboys & Aliens stars: Daniel Craig  as Jake Lonergan, Harrison Ford as Col. Woodrow Dolarhyde, Olivia Wilde as Ella and Clancy Brown as Meacham

Yes the original young detective is coming back in a big way. This 3D adaptation of the beloved children books/animated tv show has quite the power house duo behind it. Steven Spielberg the man behind Jaws, E.T., Indiana Jones, Minority Report, plus so much more will be directing and his producing wingman is Peter Jackson director of the Lord Of The Rings trilogy, King Kong, Dead Alive, and so much more. Now I know most of you are saying what? 3d? Come on!  That’s soooo lame!! Astro Boy Lame.  If you would have told me that not even two days ago I would have full heartedly agreed with you. But thanks to  Empire Magazine and their first look at the movie to be, I have a higher sense of hope for this flick. Also it doesn’t hurt that the genius comedy duo of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are credited in the film. Don’t take my word for it. Take a gander.
